After graduating with both a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Arts , Andrea Creighton completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Opera at the Royal Northern College of Music, UK - and was then accepted into the Young Artist Programme of the Paris Opera. In 2016, Andrea was asked to perform the role of Sr Berthe and understudy Mother Abbess in the final week of the Melbourne season and then continued on to the Adelaide and Perth seasons of the GFO Australian tour of The Sound of Music. Prior to that Andrea had just finished a 4 year run from 2012 - 2016, performing the role of Carlotta Guidicelli in the World Tour of the Phantom of the Opera (Really Useful Productions) - which had seen her premiere the role in Manila, Seoul, Bangkok, Singapore, Shanghai, Daegu, Taipei, Hong Kong, Istanbul, Guangzhou and Beijing. Winner of the New Zealand Mobil Song Quest; winner of the Webster Booth/Esso Award UK; recipient of the Countess of Munster Scholarship UK and a Peter Moores Scholarship — Andrea has also been mentored by the Singers Development Foundation, New York and won the Opera Prize of the Cercle Carpeaux de Paris. In her final year as a Young Artist of the Paris Opera — she was awarded the prestigious Prix d'A.R.O.P - for an outstanding debut performance at the Paris Opera.

Andrea has sung principal roles with many international companies including: L'Opéra National de Paris; New Zealand Opera; Opera de Bordeaux; Opera de Tours; Opera de Nantes; Iford Festival UK; Festival d'Aix en Provence; Atelier Lyrique de Tourcoing; Melbourne Opera and the NZ International Festival of the Arts; Andrea returned from Europe to sing Carlotta Guidicelli in the Australasian/Asian tour of The Phantom of the Opera from 2007-2009 (RUC/GFO); had tremendous fun touring Australia as Dubbo Housewife in Menopause the Musical from 2010-2012 and was again invited to perform Carlotta - this time for the World Tour of The Phantom of the Opera from 2012-2016.

Andrea's concert and recital work has seen engagements with many international orchestras - including the Vector Wellington Orchestra; the Auckland Philharmonia; the Auckland Chamber Orchestra; l'Orchèstre National de Paris; l'Orchèstre Radio France; Les Musiciens de Louvre; the Orchèstre National de Lyon; the English Camerata Orchestra and the Halle Orchestra UK. Andrea is an established singing teacher - specialising in Opera, Classical Voice and Music Theatre and a sought-after "French Language for Singers" Coach.
