Nick Pelomis

Nick  Pelomis  trained  at  Flinders  University  Drama  Centre.  His  theatre  work  includes PORNOGRAPHy (by Simon Stephens), HOLDING THE MAN, ARCHITEKTIN (by Robyn  Archer),  KING  LEAR,  MNEMONIC,  FROZEN,  COSI  and  SCHOOL  FOR SCANDAL for the State Theatre Company of South Australia. 

He  played  the  part  of  Ted  in  both  the  Adelaide  and  Sydney  seasons  of  the  Windmill/STCSA co-production TWO WEEKS WITH THE QUEEN. Nick has also performed in many independent theatre productions including Little Ones production of SALOME at Malthouse, THE CONTAINER for Big West Festival, AFTER THE END for the Adelaide Fringe, floogle’s ONE LONG NIGHT IN THE LAND OF NOD, yELLOW ROSES for Vitalstatistix at Belvoir Street and WHO’S AFRAID OF THE WORKING CLASS and A CHEERy SOUL, both for New Theatre (Syd). Nick also performed the one-man play THE EVENT in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide. While in England in 2007 he performed as part of the In Residence program at Leicester Haymarket Theatre (UK). Nick’s film and television work includes the feature film THE BOyS ARE BACK directed by Scott Hicks, the made for television films THE HOSTAGES and MURDERCALL: DEADLINE as well as LIFE SUPPORT (SBS). 

Most recently Nick appeared in Sean Micallef ’s THE EX-PM and the mini series DEADLINE GALLIOPLI. 

Nick was awarded Best Actor for his work in State Theatre Company of SA’s production of FROZEN by The Advertiser, Sunday Mail and The Messenger newspapers.

Nick's recent role for Melbourne Opera was the non-singing role Pasha Selim in Mozart's The Abduction from the Seraglio.
