Bryan O'Connell

Born Melbourne. Studied: Monash University; Bachelor of Economics, Bachelor of Laws, Grad. Dip. Comparative and International Law. Bryan took up singing well after he commenced a career in law and banking having worked in London, Sydney and Melbourne. He has trained professionally as an opera singer for many years in Melbourne and has largely performed with Victorian based opera companies although in December 2004 he performed in the Puccini Festival’s joint production of Turandot.


Opera: Performed in Il Travotore, Angelotti in Tosca, Betto in Gianni Schicci, Cavaleria Rusticana, second priest in The Magic Flute, The Pearlfishers, Colline in La Boheme, Monterone in Rigoletto and covered Timur in Turandot.
