A superb cast of leading Australian artists including Kerry Gill and Hilary Taylor as the tragic courtesan, Violetta; popular tenors Roy Best and Jacob Caine makes their debuts as her lover Alfredo and Manfred Pohlenz and Lucas de Jong play Alfredo’s father Germont. This superb new production has been designed by Andrew Bellchambers and directed by Hugh Halliday: the acclaimed Melbourne Opera Orchestra and Chorus are conducted by Greg Hocking and Rick Prakhoff.
