Scott Allan

Scott is the Technical Manager for the Arts Faculty at Deakin University, and a professional member of the Association of Lighting Designer's (ALD). He held the position of Resident Lighting Designer for the Gold Coast Arts Centre for eight years, was Treasurer of the Australasian Lighting Industry Association (ALIA) for seven years, and remains a founding member of Straightjacket Productions. For Melbourne Opera, Scott has designed the lighting for Der Freischütz, La Traviata, Carmen, I Puritani, The Merry Widow, Tosca, Faust, La Boheme, Fidelio, The Pearl Fishers, Cavalleria Rusticana, Der Freisuitz, Pagliacci, The Marriage of Figaro, The Barber of Seville, The Italian Girl in Algiers, Suor Angelic.
