David Gould

David Gould has performed as a soloist in operas for Victoria State Opera, Melbourne Opera, Opera Australia, Opera North, Queensland Youth Choir and Orchestra, Monash University, In Good Opera Company and Gertrude Opera Company. David toured internationally in the professional G & S productions of H.M.S Pinafore, The Mikado and Pirates of Penzance.


David performed the role of Georgio in The Gondoliers with Opera Australia and alongside Dennis Olsen in the Production Company's Gilbert and Sullivan Spectacular at the Regent Theatre. His roles include Don Basilo in The Barber of Seville, Nourabad in The Pearl Fishers, Sarastro in The Magic Flute, Don Bartolo in The Marriage of Figaro, The Commendatore in Don Giovanni and the role of Caiaphas in the Australian touring arena production ofJ.C. Superstar with John Farnham. David was nominated for a Victorian Green Room Award, a Mo Variety Award for 'Best supporting actor' in The Mikado and received an Aria Award for his contribution to the Jesus Christ Superstar Highlights Album.


David is also a talented M.C, impressionist, voice-over artist, comedy writer and comic having performed in customized shows including diverse styles from 'Classical to Country' for hundreds of corporate and private clients around Australasia. David has performed on radio and television around Australia including performances on Bert Newton's 'Good Morning Australia', 'Hey, Hey, it's Saturday!' The Max Gillies Show, 'Sale of the Century', 'Sea Change', 'Neighbours', 'Something In The Air' for the A.B.0 and 'Denise'. David also features in the platinum award winning video of 'The Mikado' and `H.M.S Pinafore'. In 1994 he was one of the Cleo Bachelors of the Year.
