Kathryn Grey

Studied VCA and University of Melbourne. Operatic Repertoire includes Carmen and Mercedes in Carmen (Melbourne Lyric Opera), Sally in The Hand of Bridge and Lorna in the Australian premier of Paternity (Port Fairy Spring Music Festival), Dorabella in Cosi Fan Tutte (Renaissance Opera), Arsamene in Xerxes (VSO-cover), Jano in Jenufa and Magrigal Singer in Manon Lescaut (Opera Australia-cover). Concert appearances include: soloist in Verdi Requiem (Independent Classics), soloist in Gorecki’s Symphony of Sorrowful Songs (Noteworthy Australia), the Maria Callas Story (MLO), and Sharon Graham in Masterclass by Terence McNally.


Debut with Melbourne Opera was as 2nd Lady in The Magic Flute; also appeared for Melbourne Opera as Suzuki in Madame Butterfly and in the title role in Carmen.
