Wendy Trent

Wendy has been a member of the WA Symphony Orchestra Chorus from 2003 to 2005. During that time she sang in the WA Opera Chorus for their production of Orff’s Carmina Burana, and with the London Philharmonic Chorus for performances of Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis when they toured Australia. Choral performances included Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, Verdi’s Requiem, Mahler’s Resurrection Symphony and new works such as John Adams’ Pulitzer Prize winning Choral Piece On the Transmigration of Souls. Earlier this year she sang with the Melbourne Chorale in the Dream of Gerontius at Hamer Hall with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. Suor Angelica and Cavalleria Rusticana are her first operatic experiences.
