Don Giovanni
Don Giovanni is hailed as one of Mozart’s greatest and most demanding operas. Melbourne Opera has assembled a world class cast for its new production directed by the acclaimed Suzanne Chaundy.
“The Rake Punished” is the alternative title of this work and will be dramatically evident in this new production starring international baritone Christopher Tonkin as the Don, well-loved soprano Lee Abramsen as the wronged Donna Anna and rising star Henry Shaw as the long- suffering servant Leporello. Designed by Dale Ferguson and conducted by Raymond Lawrence, this new production of one of operas great masterpieces is not to be missed.
