In honour of the centenary of the beloved composer’s death, Melbourne Opera presents a new production of Puccini’s most popular and romantic opera La Bohème.

An extraordinary cast featuring two beloved international sopranos, Elena Xanthoudakis as Mimi and Helena Dix as Musetta with Boyd Owen as Rodolfo and Christopher Tonkin as Marcello will be directed by the award-winning Gary Abrahams and conducted by Raymond Lawrence.

 Featuring many of the best loved arias and ensembles in all opera, La Bohème recounts the tragic love story of Mimi and Rodolfo and their bohemian friends in 19th century Paris.

Sung in Italian with English subtitles.
